Go Bananas

I met some very lovely people tonight.

There was a lovely couple from Phoenix, they drove all the way up the west coast from Arizona. They made me smile. It’s so rare to meet such sincere and grateful folks. We chatted and shared stories. They told me about Italy, travels, and their upcoming trip to the island. Knowing how much I want to go to Europe, they left me a lovely note of places they thought I would love to visit in Italy, with their numbers and emails. That was heart-felt. Thank you, Navin and Michele.

A guy at the bar was one of the lovely people tonight as well. He didn’t even bother with the menu. He said to give him the best we’ve got, and told me not to worry about prices. I honestly didn’t do much for him except checking back from time to time. He must’ve been some extreme sports athlete. Tomorrow, he’s going to embark on a crazy journey, going kayaking in some freezing weather, jumping off some cliffs, and trekking somewhere up in northern BC. Good luck, Mike.
