An online community created by IDEO where people are encouraged to collaborate and to help creating solutions to some social innovation projects. It’s a crowd-sourcing platform that emphasizes on participation, ideas sharing, and collaboration.
One of the first challenges was posted by this year’s TED prize winner, Jamie Oliver- “How can we raise kids’ awareness of the benefits of fresh food so they can make better choices?”.
Although crowdsourcing may seem to be a new type of social experiment still, it’s definitely exciting to see what may come out of this unconventional method of design collaboration.
