I got a haircut, and I am loving the mushroom-like layers. Spending my late afternoon at the sea wall, reading about Colin Angus’ circumnavigation in Siberia’s harsh weather makes me feel just a tiny bit lazy. It’s pretty hard to wrap my mind around the concept of someone departing from the same city, embarking on this crazy journey of human-power RTW trip just 5 years ago. It’s much more mind-boggling knowing exactly where he started, which route he took, and what kind of preparations he has done.
Tonight, I left my date early and went to visit Tina instead. Somehow the beach reminded me of my Barclay man. Lately, people have been asking about him. I told them he was gone. It was good while we had it, and tonight, I rather spend time with family than dwelling on memories.
