Watching Jonathan Safran Foer on The Hour on Thanksgiving.
It’s interesting to have someone who explores the industrial food system and our culture of eating on the show for such an important national holiday. It’s also a nice discussion to touch up on my recent read, “In Defense of Food” from Michael Pollan. I can’t wait to start on the new book from Foer.
Rosa and I, ended up making a yummy maple salmon pescatarian dinner with asparagus, bakes mushrooms, yam fries, and olive tomato pasta. Making food is lovely :). It feels like home.
It would be awesome to have George sit down with Jamie Oliver on this segment dedicated to food, wouldn’t it?
