So nice to see some familiar faces last night at 221A. Lovely lovely people. The current exhibition features an on-going project by Vancouver-based artist Hua Jin. The emphasis on the idea of heritage, cultural context, and community feels particular close to heart in Vancouver. Come out, check out the exhibition, and maybe meet some of the lovely people if you get a chance.

Woke up early for the run. Quiet beach and sleepy campus. The air was freezing, forgot to wear gloves. Birds were having morning gatherings, foggy harbour. Nice to be in the sun, calm and relaxing.
Reward- Breakfast binge on mushroom omelet, raspberry jam on walnut bread, and lavender latte. Ella Fitzgerald in the background, a nice morning indeed.

Could do better
In the light of a brand new year, improvements are needed after recognizing some mistakes and poor habits:
- Neglected yoga schedule
- Failed to follow up on a client’s inquiry
- Promised to call parents only to forget over weekend
- Stayed up too late to wake up on time for sit-down breakfasts
- Cancel dinner plan with friends with a last minute notice
