Flight Captain: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am sorry for the delay of this flight. Because of the volcanic ash cloud, we had to wait for the report to make sure it's clear before flying over to Reykjavik. We will now take off and hopefully the airport will open when we get there.
------5 hours later-------
Flight Captain: Ladies and Gentlemen, again, I appreciate your patience. The air control has predicted the future that the ash cloud would not interfere our flight and arrival in Reykjavik. However, the future has changed. I don't know exactly what's going on. But as you can see, we are changing our route and will soon arrive in Glasgow in 4 hours. I appreciate your patience. Again, I am sorry. Goodbye.
------4 hours later-------
Flight Captain: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now in Glasgow. Please stay on the aircraft until the crew has figured out what we will do about your connecting flights. Thank you for your patience, and hopefully you enjoyed this comfortable flight. Goodbye.

The last week has been hectic, and overwhelmingly packed with errands,...

My little accident in the kitchen
Tina: Oh my god, there's so much blood!
Me: I've never seen so much blood from my own body.
Tina: Maybe we should ask Susana to help.
Me: You are right. She just took a First Aid course!
Tina: Should we take a picture?
Me: I really don't think this is a good time.
Tina: Let's take a picture.

My Wednesday was made full with lovely people :D
CONGRATULATIONS to my lovely friend Fiona, who’s expecting a baby in October with her wonderful husband Philipp.
Fiona and I enjoyed our day by the beach. We spent the afternoon catching up, sharing her stories from Peru, planning our meet up in Europe, and enjoying some really yummy Chinese noodles.
We indulged ourselves with some...

Walking home last night, I saw a wild rabbit by the sidewalk. I chased after it and tried to share my berry skittles with him. That probably wasn’t the brightest idea, because I pretty much did nothing except to frighten the little thing. :P
