Go be that starving Artist you’re afraid to be. Open up that journal and get...

:) Maybe this is why I like him so much.

For Christmas, he got me the concert tickets for City and Colour in February, a cute gingerbread man which I like too much that I refuse to eat, a print-out of DOUG that’s sitting on my desk, and a necklace with a bird and a whistle. I love it.
I really hope he likes his Swiss Army. He says it brings back memories.
We watched Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas the night...

I like sharing my random dreams with him, even though I know it really doesn’t make any sense at all to anybody but me. I like waking up and seeing him getting dressed with my eyes half opened. It’s nice and lovely :)

Despite of our crazy effort last week, we didn’t win the blue ray DVD player. He made up for it by surprising me with an awesome blue stingray drawing. That was sweet, like ferrero rocher kind of sweet :D
The stingray is sitting on my desk now, next to the amazing ceramic bowls I found 2 days ago. :)

Oli: Have you ever tried picking up an empty suitcase when you thought it was full and got really proud of how strong you were?
Me: YUP.
Oli: Have you ever checked the time twice and still had no idea what time it was?
Me: YUP. All the time.
Oli: Have you ever walked into a room and didn't know why the hell you were there?
Me: I do that way too much.
Oli: See, told you we're not that different.

Our house is full of happy people tonight, almost everyone is done with exams. Music is playing crazy loud, I think my ceiling is going to fall on my face soon. Anthony says Ferrero Rocher is like chocolate cocaine. If that’s true, then I’ve been a crackhead all weekend. I’ve been working a little bit too much, not really reading enough. My magical dreams are getting a bit crazy....

I love Passion Pit!
Oli and I enjoyed a very yummy dinner at the Foundation and finally got to catch up for a little. Since I moved away from the old place, it’s been a while since we sat down and hung out like old times. We talked about 221A and our own busy schedules.
He likes the days at Apple. I tell him I miss the crazy good Pho place just 2 minutes away from the studio. We make fun...

Maybe I am just a grandma at heart.
I love green tea, and the smell of fresh laundry.
I walk slowly, usually in my plain flats.
I read in my bed, with my plaid blanket.
I day dream, and tend to spend a little too much time contemplating about random things.
I guess I am just missing a few cats and a pair of nanny glasses.

If music doesn't heal souls, I wonder what does.

We went ice skating last night in the freezing cold. The Christmas tree next to the rink was made of huge silver spheres. It looked like a mountain of gigantic timbits with icing. Sometimes doing things that are totally kiddish can make me feel just like home. He gave me first ever advent calendar last night! From now until Christmas I’ll get to have a yummy chocolate everyday! We watched...

The guys at Rotor were really nice, they replied within days. It’s too bad I don’t speak Dutch or French. It would be nice to work with them. Maybe I’ll drop by their office when I get to Brussels, and see what sort of amazing things they are up to.

My paperwork was all sent out this morning. The pretty woman at the Danish Consulate was really nice. Her name was Tina, too, like my Tina. She told me Danish people are sweet, and I will love it there. I never understood why that little stamp in my passport would cost so much money and trouble to get. But now all is done with, we just got to wait.
